It's Alex's turn to celebrate his birthday!
I take Blake out before breakfast and Marian prepares br offerings for the day as well as packaging the cheese straws which were specialty requested by Alex. I put together a fruit salad and we bag everything up in preparation for Alex who's picking us up.
Over to P and A's, we help set up in preparation for the small family gathering being held before the main onslaught of the rest of family and friends. They've done a good job of the garden and it looks really pretty. We catch up with Alex's family over lunch and then the main body of the party turn up.
The weather starts off variable but eventually settes down to pleasant. We have a great time, eating and drinking and talking too much!
We eventually call up a cab and our ourselves and Blake into it and head for home!
