Up at the crack of dawn to take the dogs for their walk. They're really funny (ha ha) and I have some fun being out with them. Colin does 3 times more than the other two. He runs off with Blake runs back to see me and then runs back off to catch up with Blake!
Quick breakfast and then I start setting up. Spitting rain but looks like it'll get better. Set up the bar, get the brollies set up, make the fruit salad, get the bread out, sausages, burgers and lamb.
Pascale and Alex turn up - Pascale has made the cake. It looks great. Alex helps me set up the furniture whilst I mow the lawn and I show Pascale wherethe nibbles are so tya she can set them up on the tables. Couldn't have done it in time without them before people turn up.

Sue, Keith and Yvonne, Phil and been, Steve and Laura, Dave and Carla and Madison, Kevin and Sheryl, Viv, Mirabel and Warren, Andy and Kay, Ray and Rita, Jill and Alan.
I dish up the food with help from Phil and Keith on the barbecue.
Corn cobs, followed by
Spareribs, followed by
With Burgers, sausages, lamb kebabs, potato salad, cole slaw, green salad, cook up rice, bread for the main course, then
Fruit salad, followed by
Pascale's cake, followed by
Cheese and biscuits
All washed down with
Wine of all colours, beer, lagers, cokes, j2o and just plain water.
Varied weather which end up with a glorious evening. It gets a bit cold when the sun drops but I light up the fire basket and we all stand around it.
Atr people have left its down to us two, Pascale and Alex and Andy and Kay. We clear up then settle down to watch the end of the Jubilee concert and then watch the recording of the earlier bits that we'd missed.
