We have a full breakfast with Pascale and Alex. Marian opens br presents and cards and Alex shows us what he's got so far for his birthday including the lens we helped the fund.
Pascale and Alex are going to a wedding so set off on their trip to the other side of the country. We're looking after Colin whilst they're away.
We take the dogs for a walk at Goldhanger. Its a good open space and not too long for Colin. Its cold and windy and damp.
Bck home I continue to move things from the dining room back to the back roo, we still have a lot to move and I'm trying to sift everything before it goes back.
Keith and Yvonne come over at the same time as Mirabel who has come over with some pressies fo Marian. We sit and chat for a bit. I crack open the Prosecco and we end up opening the second one as well before the taxi arrives. We're out again for a celebratory meal on the day.
Different restaurant - one of our favourites. The food is excellent and we have a really great evening. Five courses including the snackette the serve at the start and the fiery sorbet as a palate cleanser after the starter. They're good company and we make tentative plans to go away for a long weekend later in the year.
