I take Blake out for our Saturday constitutional. The walk is getting quite overgrown. The farmers need to do their duty and tidy the footpaths - they get money to look after them but spend the minimal amount on their upkeep. Its not too bad for me but there are some bits that are a bit tricky for Blake.
Whilst I'm doing that Marian picks up Colin from Pascale. she and Alex are going to a wedding and Pascale is playing a solo oboe piece whilst they sign the register. She rehearse it for Marian who videos it so that I can see/hear it . Its lovely. Haven't heard her play the oboe since her final and its great tonseenthat she still has the touch and the feel for the instrument.
We go into Sainsburys to get bits and pieces fo the next day: orchid and champagne for Warren and Mirabel for their anniversary, wine for their party and some food for us tonight.
We pop over to help Warren and Mirabel set up for their party tomorrow. We end up spending the afternoon with them. Marian helps out with food recipes whilst I help Warren with his marquee and to build his new barbecue.
