We cut over to the new ICT contract today so I go in early. I'm there just after 8 but get caught up in refurbishment issues almost right away. I finally get to see the guys about 40 minutes later. All is well and they have some extra support in from the new company to show them how to use the help desk system. There are no problems throughout the day - much as we were expecting!
I leave earlyish and head back home. Its a joint celebration of Marian's and Alex's birthdays. Pascale and Alex and Colin turn up and we have a couple of drinks to set the scene.
We head off to the Blue Strawberry - leave Blake and Colin to entertain each other. Marian and Pascale start with Prosecco. Alex and I hit the beer. We have the works. Full three courses washed down with wine. We're celebrating in style as its 90 years between them! Lovely meal.
Back home and we round off with port - well, Alex and I do.
