As I walk into the building I can hear building noises from the yard. I look out the office to find that they have started doing the work in preparation for the bicycle shelter. This is not supposed to start until Monday and we now have a skip trapped behind these works! Prats.
I meet with the Housing team who have finally decided that they need to reorganise their team positions to reduce the complaints about drafts. I've been saying this to them from the time they first had the complaints. They've finally managed to do the management thing and manage the situation.we discuss ideas and they agree to discuss with their oicks.
After that I meet with the door supplier/carpenter and look at the doors which haven't been done as yet as well as take him round to look at some carpentry requirements.
There's an electrician on site to fix some of the problems we've found.  I take him around the floor and point out the work that needs to be covered off. He ends up doing about half of the work.
Late in the afternoon I find out that the electrical supplies haven't been put in for Essex CC to power up their servers. Bummer!
