I'm invited to a meeting with the climate change officer and the town engineer who are looking after the erection of a new bicycle shed. I'm only there because, I think, I have project management skills, have some funds that they want to use and some of my work might overlap. It turns out that they're all requirements but they really want me to put out a note to all the people in the building explaining what's happening!
We start looking at moving to our new ISP which I had postponed a few weeks ago. I initiate the discussion and we immediately find a problem in that we would only have support until 6.30 when our work is likely to go on until 9. Its too risky so I pull the plug again.
I have another walk around the second floor and bring the Essex CC snagging list and our response up to date.
The afternoon isspent with Cherie and her other mangers in her monthly maagemet team meeting. Deep joy.
