I take Blake out in the morning. It is hot, warm and sunny. Along the way we're passed by a watering machine. You wouldn't have thought that they needed much watering given the amount of rain we have had recently.
After breakfast I get outside and do some weeding after mowing the lawn. We haven't been out in the garden for a while because of the wet weekends. The weeds have virtually taken over. T clear the weeds between the patio slabs I get down on hands and knees! I discover muscles, joints and bones I'd forgotten about.
We head over to Keith and Yvonne where we have dinner - lamb, beefsticks, pork cuts on the barbecue. Delicious. Their daughter Kate and her fellow Dan join us for dinner. They live on the river just outside of Colchester with their own mooring for their yacht. Its too cold to sit out front but they have an enclosed back patio which is a suntrap so we sit in there and eat al fresco.
Post dinner we settle to watch 'The girl with the dragon tattoo'. We've all ready the book and want to watch the English version of this excellent story. Its as gripping as the book but not as detailed - as to be expected of any film of a book. Good film, well worth watching.
