Blake and I have our Sunday walk across the fields. Its a bit cool and I wear a jacket but its pleasant strolling out.
After breakfast - a light one as we're having lunch today. We set off for Keith and Yvonne's and stroll off along the river and across the fields to a pub near to them. Its a lot more pleasant: warm out of the wind, sunny and great for walking. It works up a thirst and Blake has a dip in the river when we aren't looking - the little bigger! Luckily he dries off before we get to the pub.
We have a table inside the pub - Yvonne has booked it - and we settle in there with Blake. Dogs allowed! He's well -behaved whilst we have our meal. The food is good and we all enjoy the meal, chat, company and just being out with each other.
Back at Keith and Yvonne's we have cheese and biscuits and drinks in their enclosed patio - its too cold to sit on the river front which their house faces.
Ray and Rita call us just as we get home to talk about the ramp being built on their back door. Thisisbeing done to help Ray get in and out oftehouse. Even though it was built on Friday and they told the guy who built it that it was fine they now have second thoughts. We try and sort it out and speak to the handyman to resolve the problems. I think we got a result.
At home we finally get a chance to sort out the loo we've just decorated. Whey-hey!
