When I go downstairs I can't feed Blake as he's got gastro and can't eat until tonight. I feel so guilty and he looks at me in such a hurt way as if to say 'you don't like me any more!'

Get to the office to witness the dismantling of the site compound. The main refurbishment work is now complete and the temporary offices, meeting room, canteen, changing room and storage space are on their way out. Sad times. So many happy hours spent in meetings in these cabins! Lol.
Into an appraisal/counselling session with one of my team. We go through last year's stuff, plan for next year and agree a set of objectives.

Spend some time with the ICT guys going through the problems we've got with the telephone system. We implemented a VoIP system about aye a ago and we have a recent problem where phone calls are not getting through to anyone but are lost in the system! This as been ongoing for about 2 month and no solution in sight.

We are planning to change our internet provider for a cheaper more reliable one. I put a note out to the people and the councillors.

On the walk back home I bump into Pascale and Alex wo are staying with us tonight but having dinner with Ruth - her childhood friend - and her fiance Paul. They're on their way to the pub. We have a quick chat and I see them again later when they  return home. Nice surprise and I also get bowled over by Colin and Blake as I walk in the door.
