16th May

I go through my paperwork in the morning. Project, some notes of meetings, appraisals and documents that I need to be tying together.
At the project board meeting I give an update on progress and note the problems with the delays. We discuss other items: a coupleofpeople have complained about the quality of the water. Its mains supplied so as far as I'm concerned we've done what we're legally supposed to do. However, I say that I'll find out the costs for supplying filters. We also cover parking and the issues we'll face when we rent to top floor and lose 60 odd spaces. We also talk about fridges: how they're used, who uses them, who cleans them and their general management.
After lunch I meet with Trudy for her 121 and then chat with Nathan. He's trying to put-together a tender document for resurfacing the road around the building. Its hoped that the fndswill beprovided by theproject I'm running. We talk about some of the issues and I say that I'll put together a meeting with Mark who's got funding for a new bike shelter.
I then do a pre-snagging walk about on the second floor with Steve. I've also invited Wendy and John to join us. There are the usual items: wires, damaged ceiling tiles, dirt and dust, paintwork, plasteing, floor tiles, etc. But nothing major.
