You can tell its a bank holiday Monday! The rain is pouring down.
Marian has decided that she's taking Blake out today - as much for exercise as the fact that she's missing her walks with him.
I do some more work in the garage whilst she's with him. We do the bank holiday crossword whilst and after breakfast and then get stuck into household chores. I finish off what I've been doing in the garden and she does some stuff on her sewing course.
After lunch, I go out to do some shopping - stuff for the garden, some booze and other its and pieces.
Pascale, Alex and Colin join us for dinner but we have a few beers and natter before getting stuck in. Marian has managed to get hold of a succulent leg of lamb - its delicious!
We have a great evening - beer and wine flows, the food is excellent, the homemade creme brulee is great. We thought that they were just coming for dinner and then heading back home. We end up with a bonus as they've decided to stay overnight so there's no time pressure. Great way to finish the weekend although there was a surprise or two along the way.
