I owe an apology to any regular readers. I've dropped of from this blog and have only now picked it up a week later.
I picked up a cold infection on the weekend which really tired me out. I fully expected to keep up with this but come Tuesday night when i settled down to write this: I promptly fell asleep! The trendcontinued for the week and I've only just about got back up to speed. Shit! Hope that this isn't old age otherwise I don't wanna have any more to do with it!
Anyway, now restarted and I hope to pick up where I left off complete with some surprises in the middle.
Got to the office expecting to find that the lights had been sorted out. John says that he has spoken to Fred but they don't have any spares to implement the solution. No spares! The whole second floor is unoccupied with oodles of kit. People got no imagination sometimes!
Start writing my annual appraisals for the folk I manage. They're hard but gotta be done. Also very time consuming.
