22nd March - equinox + 1

Glorious day. But the trains are screwed up!  Problems with there overhead lines. They were supposed to have finished all this stuff by 21st but they're still having problems by the looks of it. I end up getting the bus in as they cancel my train.

I've only got half my team in today and am supposed to be having a team meeting so I move it back a week.

The British Gas engineers who are looking at moving the solar panel power boxes turn up early. We take them round the site and explain where we want them moved to and give the the necessary info so that the can give us a quote for the work.

John and I take a walk round the meeting rooms and measure up the walls where we intend to put up paperclip strips. These allow you to clip up sheets from flipchart without using blue-tack on the walls. There are about half a dozen rooms where we want to set these up.

I take the opportunity to check out some of the areas where we have been facing problems and chat to the people about fixing them.

We're going to Pascale for dinner tonight. I go straight there. Luckily, the trains are running better now so I get therein good time - its on the same line so is quite direct. Get some drinks on the way from the station_ beer, cider, cokes and wine.

Colin seems to have recovered well from the snip and launches himself at me as soon as I walk in the door. He's a real cute dog.

Pascale seems good. She missed work today because she was supposed to be in London but the trains were screwed up. Alex is away on a St do in Budapest so its just the 5 of us including the 2 dogs. We have a lovely evening chatting and drinking and eating.
