Lovely sunny day. The ground is white and I assume it is covered in dew. Its only when I get outside that I realise that it is a frost and that its cold. Still its nice to walk!
I realise that the next Managers Conference is tomorrow. I'm supposed to be doing a part of a presentation as well as facilitate a couple of the sessions where they break out into groups to do some mini exercises. I write up the notes for my presentation and get some info on what I'm supposed to be doing for the facilitation. Just have to hope that's good enough!
We are still having problems sending emails to residents with Hotmail accounts. We got infected last week and a stack of spams got send by the virus. As a result we have been blacklisted by Microsoft and we're trying to get it reset. They're useless and we're having real trouble with this. Its now the second working day where we've been blocked. The guys are doing what they can to resolve it.
I go to my weekly meeting with the site manager. Quite a bit done this weekend. We're still on track for 2 months time. I hope it stays that way!
Sort out invoices for the other 3 councils for the joint ICT contract. We paid the bills and I now have to recover their share of the costs and I need to get them all in and registered before the yearend - 31sr March.
Catch up with my new book on the way home. A Jo Nesbo story that's been recommended. I've decided to take a break from the Game of Thrones books. They are gripping but obsessive and I need some variety. This book is good. Very different - modern detective story set in Norway. Its already intriguing me.
