10th March

There's rugby on today so I take Blake out first thing in the morning. Its very pleasant, starting to warm up and not too much wind. Its a bit busy - we see the unfriendly Shiatshu but it is in front of us by about 50 yards and I allow that gap to double before I follow them. As we stroll on I hear a whistle and then see the farmer and his two dogs in front of us. They go off on a different path so we're not actually disturbed although this is more company than we're accustomed to.

On the way back Mr Nosey has a look at the A12 to see what the traffic is like.

Back home, after breakfast I spend some time in the garden and start clearing the beds.

Back indoors to watch the first rugby game. Wales  vs Italy.  Wales wins it easily. They're on track for the grand slam!

Back out into the garden and i clear out the pond, get rid of the blanket weed, cut the plants around the edges, remove some of their tangle of roots, do a general tidy up.

Warren turns up with beers and we settle down to watch Scotland vs Ireland. We're supporting Scotland in this one but they get thoroughly beaten by Ireland. Good game but wrong result for us.
