Working from home

I had a restless night because of this damned cough. The meeting I had planned for today has been cancelled and I have a stack of paperwork to catch up with. Well, its not really paperwork but you know what I mean!

I phone Cherie to let her know and then contact my team. I then phone Steve but he's unavailable. I then get a call from Dean telling me that one of the managers is concerned about the demolition works going on on the second floor. I drop him an email to explain what's happening and ask him to phone me if he needs to discuss in more detail. He does call and Explains that he's not worried but his people are asking. I promise to send out a note explaining what's happening. Call Steve again to make sure I get the story straight and he tells me that he has had a phone call complaining about the dust. I just can't believe the a**holes in this building. It is being refurbished! Do they expect to get cakes from the demolition works? I guess that they're looking for an excuse to be sent home. I don't even bother to try and explain that one.

I get on with my paperwork checking emails periodically. Luckily it is fairly quiet so I'm able to concentrate on what I'm doing.

Marian has a couple of sewing lessons to give so I spend much of the day on my own. That's fine as well as I get a chance to focus.

Its a quiet fairly uneventful day until Alex phones to say that he has put the caravan on eBay and has had a couple of bites. He pops over to get the battery to charge it up. It seems that he has had about three nibbles so with a bit of luck they can get rid of it soon and make some money back.
