Last day of the first month

I can't believe that the first month is nearly finished.
11 more pay days to Christmas was what one person said to me. Now that is a scary thought!
This is a very Bitty day in which I do loads of things but its a bit here and a bit there:
- adjust the lights for one of the whingers
- search for desk lamps so that they can have light on their desk now that we've turned down the lights as requested by them
- give advice to one of the builders on the pipes for the new radiators and their positioning
- help the BBC Essex man to get his equipment and links sorted out
- show the BT engineer where to go to sort out the missing telephone line
- get the electricians in to give the BT man advice and to help him by running a new line for him
- meet with a couple of colleagues to discuss the transfer of people from the old IT company to the new one
- read Matt's paper on web strategy and give him some comments
- read through the agreement we're trying to put in place for the 4 authorities using the new IT contract (very boring and i don't have much to say about it)
- setup some purchase orders for the works we're going to have to do soon and check that we've still got enough money for it in the project budget
