Keith and Yvonne have stayed over with us.
We all have a leisurely morning. We breakfast on fruit salad, bacon, eggs, toast and coffee / tea. We chat and gossip some more and talk about Keith's new venture.
Afterwards, we set off for Goldhanger to clear our heads and to take Blake out. He still isn't back to normal so we're still being careful with him.
Its cold and the sun tries to come out but fails miserably.The walk is quite pleasant with a very light breeze and few people around. Yvonne has a dodgy ankle but its a gentle enough walk to not cause a problem.
We go to the pub after and have a couple of drinks. Blake is very well-behaved and the other people in the pub comment on what a lovely dog he is as well as on his good behaviour. We bask in his reflected glory.
Back home and we wave goodbye to K and Y. Its been great spending some time with them. Such good company and friends.
We light a fire and sit in the front room and just relax for the rest of the day.
