My wife, daughter & daughter's partner (who is also my friend) gave me a Samsung tablet for my 60th Christmas and birthday present. I've decided to explore using it for lots of things and to start with a blog from 1st January.
So, this is day 1.
Spent the day recovering from the previous night. Great day walking with the dog (happy black Lab) in the local Marks Hall centre. This involved the lottery of crossing the A120 to get there and back without being involved in an accident or near-miss. However, the walk was good for the three of us. It's free to get in during the public hols when they don't force people to go through their gate and charge money! Bit of a rip off from them! People were getting stuck in the car park 'cos they don't spend enough on making sure that there is proper drainage or that there is a proper hard stand for the cars.
Went to see our lovely neighbours to check out their new colour scheme in the living room - v nice. Couple of beers later and we were well set up!
Then we had a pleasant surprise when my daughter and partner dropped in to pick up the cage for their guinea pigs.
